Our Journey
Welcome to La Torino Trattoria, where we bring authentic Northern Italian
country cuisine to Calgary, Alberta. Nestled in the Lake Bonavista neighbourhood
of Southeast Calgary, our journey began in November 2025 with a passion for
sharing the rich, traditional flavors of Italy with our community. Led by
Chef Binu, whose love for Italian cooking began in Dubai where he developed
a deep appreciation for the warmth and simplicity of authentic Italian cuisine,
every aspect of La Torino is designed to transport you to the vibrant culinary
heritage of Northern Italy.

Our Menu
Our diverse menu features an impressive selection of authentic Northern Italian
dishes, including our signature Chilean Seabass with Pea Risotto, Veal Meatballs
with Grana Padano, and mouthwatering Seafood Fettuccine. Our house-made pastas
and in-house mozzarella have become local favorites in Calgary. Each dish is
prepared with farm-to-table produce, traditional Italian techniques, and authentic
family recipes passed down through generations. If something can be made from
scratch at La Torino, it is.
